History
The villge of Colwinston has always been a strong supporter of numerous charities, back in 2004 two young ladies (Angela Pritchard and Maralyn Minshull) in the village were diagnosed with cancer and this was the start of 21 years of fundraising. During that time the village has raised more than £104000 and donated it to 35 charities.
The enthusiasm of the whole village and their friends from the wider communities has meant that whenever a fundraising event takes place it's always extremely well supported.
